Customer Reviews : Apple® iPad 2â„¢ Smart Cover - Red (MC950LL/A) Not surprising at all, as Apple wants you to buy a pricey ""smart cover"". At the price of the delicate IPad, it may seem surprising that it comes with no case. Otherwise, I cannot recommend these covers in any way. In the case of a long fall the pad has no protection at all. This review is fromThis review is from: Apple iPad 2 Leather Smart Cover - Black (MC947LL/A) (Electronics) I was in shock when saw the price for a a single piece of felt and leather with a couple of magnetic hinges. That is 500 dollars - or more - of an investment in a nice Apple IPad shattered. When the IPad falls over from the unstable stand made from folding the cover, the pad gets a healthy knock. . This review is from: Apple iPad 2 Leather Smart Cover - Black (MC947LL/A) (Electronics) The leather cover looks terrific but it doesn't prop up the tablet to a comfortable height But it offers no protection to the IPad. This review is from: Apple iPad 2 Leather Smart Cover - Black (MC947LL/A) (Electronics) We returned this item as it has no protection from the back and does not meet our expectations for the professional look we want in our board room. I am actuaaly looking for a more durable cover that allows me to use the camera without obstructions and that can protect all sides of the tablet. This review is from: Apple iPad 2 Leather Smart Cover - Black (MC947LL/A) (Electronics) It appeared to be a clever way to cover the front of the IPad2 without adding much bulk or thickness. With a few ""wow"" features: magnetic on and off switching, and magnetic attachment to the pad. Not to mention purchasing another IPad when the first one shatters in a fall. I have two of these covers. one of made of polyurethane and one is black leather. With both, the stand made by folding the cover into a triangle is not stable and the IPad falls when the screen is touched with any pressure, as when typing. Sometimes it falls over if the pad is just jostled slightly. Not good. As it is just a half cover: it only protects the glass front, if that, and the aluminum back is prone to dings and scratches. If you use the cover enough you will find that thee magnetic lining of the cover attracts metallic dust. Some of that dust is quite able to scratch the face of the pad. That cannot be a good thing, and I am waiting for the glass to crack. Actually I am not taking the chance, I will not use these covers anymore. It is just too risky, and affords no protection. If you do use this cover make sure you have another case to put the IPad with the ""smart cover in. ...(more about : ipad 2) Tag : Apple® iPad 2â„¢ Smart Special Offers : Apple® iPad 2â„¢ Smart Available from 16 Store : Select your deal and buy At all of these merchants listed below. Customer Reviews : Otterbox APL2-IPAD1-B6-C4OTR iPad Defender Case (Hot Pink Plastic/Black Silicone) This review is from: Otterbox APL2-IPAD1-B6-C4OTR iPad Defender Case (Hot Pink Plastic/Black Silicone) (Electronics) **Note: we tend to additionally purchased the Otterbox Commuter (just in case the Defender was too heavy) and did not extremely look after it.** **After shopping for the Otterbox Defender for IPad, we'll currently get them for our Ipod bit and our cell phones!** We LOVE the Otterbox Defender for the IPAD! Since the IPad is standard for being sleek and light-weight, we tend to were terribly involved based mostly on different feedback that it'd be means too significant for the IPad. The OBDefender did add a bit weight, however the burden to us is healthier. It makes the $600 IPad feel adore ipad 2 will not simply snap in 0.5. we all know that the Ipad is meant to be sturdy, however you cannot facilitate carrying ipad 2 around gingerly in order that you do not hurt the dainty very little factor. Also the case feels nice to carry, we will sit anywhere and use it. we tend to now not worry regarding our vi year previous carrying ipad 2 around and probably dropping it. My wife paid the additional $10 and got the pink... good selection for her. The OBDefender is extremely simple to put in. Takes some of minutes, mainly to browse the directions. The piece that's removed for battery charges is extraordinarily simple to figure. I even have seen not thus good reviews for this case and that i merely do not perceive. Also, the stand works out for us. It comes designed into the cover!! you'll be able to use ipad 2 in Profile or landscape modes. we do not use a stand that a lot of thus it's ok. The picture ought to show that the duvet that goes over the front (when you're not using / traveling) snaps simply to the rear. Customer Reviews : Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand for Apple iPad, Galaxy Tab, BlackBerry Play Book This review is from: Arkon transportable Fold-Up signify Apple iPad, Galaxy Tab, BlackBerry Play Book (Electronics) I will increase the comments of others that this stand, for its worth, is completely head and shoulders on top of its peers. I owned, and came, a Twelve South complete Compass stand, that was expensive, heavy, and kept falling down (see my review of tat stand). This tiny plastic stand is very light-weight, folds to alittle size, and holds my iPad and Kindle3 in any manner i would like. Love that concerning it. One star off for skinny plastic build, and as others have mentioned, the ratchetings settings --to regulate the angle, you merely force ipad 2 along ratchet teeth fabricated from plastic--will get loose, I even have very little doubt. i believe mine is looser currently already, and that i have owned this for thtree weeks. I literally leave ipad 2 open most of the time currently on not wear out the ratchet. higher would are to, like an artist's easel, have a wing nut that may be loosened and tightened, and not place confidence in dragging across plastic teeth for its sole suggests that of staying in position. But for the worth, I do like this stand (if ipad 2 were dearer, i would prefer one thing fabricated from metal; however NEVER the Compass standTwelve South Compass transportable signify iPad and iPad2 Cheers.
