Customer Reviews : Apple iPad 2 MC775LL/A Tablet (64GB, Wifi + AT&T 3G, Black) NEWEST MODEL

This review is from: Apple iPad two MC773LL/A pill (16GB, Wifi + AT&T 3G, Black) NEWEST MODEL (Personal Computers)

I have purchased each an Ipad2 and Xoom for various members of the family. i assumed it value comparing the 2 devices for anyone interested. several of my comments are subjective thus bear that in mind when reading the review.

External look and feel:
The Ipad2 screen incorporates a completely different feel from the Xoom screen - the Ipad2 could be a bit slicker, less seemingly to stay when moving short distances. The screen on the Xoom tends to point out fingerprints quite the Ipad2 for a few reason. everybody during this family thinks that the Ipad2 appearance sharper than the Xoom.

Both weigh one.6 lbs. Subjectively, the Xoom feels heavier than the Ipad2, however it's an illusion maybe caused by it's slightly smaller size.

Both have an identical size screen, measured diagonally. however the side ratio is completely different - 4:3 for Ipad2, 16:9 for Xoom. this suggests that the Ipad2 truly incorporates a larger viewing space, and this makes a true distinction when scrolling through an online website. The Ipad2 screen is brighter than the Xoom screen.

Hardware performance:
The Xoom feels alittle faster than the Ipad2, and therefore the specs show that it's faster. each have twin core processors primarily based on ARM styles. The Xoom appears to be able to handle graphics higher than the Ipad2. As so much as connecting to Wifi networks, each appear to own this one down pat - they each simply work.
